The challenge
Super Donuts, a six-outlet chain, checked its stores by WhatsApp photos and follow-up messages. Nobody could tell whether a store had actually done its opening checks, or whether a photo was taken where and when it claimed.
The result
A daily checklist the manager can only start once GPS has confirmed they are in the store, with store, time and location stamped into every photo. Head office approves a section or sends it back within seconds. In pilot since May 2026.
How it runs
Also in progress
An inventory reconciliation and cash-handover system is built and independently reviewed, and has been validated against four days of the chain's real sales data. It is in final validation ahead of rollout, and is not yet running in the stores.
